- The manufacturer is American.
The intent :
The American Franchise Amendment intends is to “Ignite The Hero” within the American People.
Any American Flag that flies over the United States of America can only be made by an American in The United States. Only American citizens can benefit or profit from the sale of the American Flag within the United States, or profit from products with the flag affixed. The American Flag affixed to a new product will ensure that the product is made by a privately held American manufacturer in the United States of America.
As an example; The raw materials used to create the American flag; fibers, or woven cloth etc. are not required to be sourced from America. This amendment is not intended to inhibit, in any way, the ability of foreign bodies to conduct business in the United States. The hope is that the flag manufacturer will choose native sources for his raw materials. The only intended limitation of this amendment is to inhibit foreign sources from profiting from the American Flag, it’s image, and what it represents, within the borders of the United States. This Amendment is intended to foster individual value based decisions by providing American’s the ability to definitively distinguish their venture as American to other Americans.
