Choose Free Will is a philosophy of change. Individual growth is a natural process, and a process which is often at the mercy of the circumstances or opportunities present at any given time in our life. So often people do not recognize the impact of these outside assumptions which we are congruent upon. We each exist in a house of mirrors created by our own hand, and we are blind to our own assumptions. We don’t know what we don’t know about ourselves. If one is to recognize, exercise, and experience true Free Will beyond your conditioning, you must accept change into something new; the unknown yet to be discovered.

Choosing to discover your Free Will requires an act of courage. We resist change because we fear the unknown. Everything you believe about yourself is rooted or centered to an emotional cause, like a boat, which is moored by an anchor. You have dropped many anchors along the way. Seeing your own emotional anchors first requires the emotional intelligence to accept that your point of view is completely biased to support your emotional anchors. I will explain the “paradox of change” in a later posting. But most of our assumptions about people’s motives are generally incorrect. And discovering our own assumptions about those misconceptions is the kernel of change

Change requires an act of faith in the self, addressing our fears. Learning to untangle our “self” from the web of our life of environments and experiences is difficult. This is precisely what a person with PTSD is seeking in therapy. , not the environment you’ve created around yourself. The external world around us is useless upon our death, we die alone. Approaching the fear of death, now, will redefine your existence, and your beliefs about who you are.

I provide articles and content which can help you understand the source of your problems and pain. By taking complete personal responsibility for every problem in your life you can gain a sense of purpose and meaning. Those things will never come from anyone or anywhere else. The self can only be found by boiling down your reality, to those few remaining parts. It can get scary, so it’s not for the faint of heart.

I will demonstrate an entirely new perspective to life and the nature of our existence. I will boil down the assumptions behind “purpose”. I also intend to write articles on basic meditation techniques. This is not which craft, voo doo , or hocus pocus, just a simple, yet practical technique of meditation.  It is simple and takes time. You can change but no one else can do it for you. You must choose to decide to change.

I am a proponent for meditation. Few people truly understand the profound benefits of meditation, and especially when practiced as a life style for may years. Meditation is the channel through which the chaff of selfishness is thrashed aside and the true self is exposed. The self can be found in the breath, and I intend to share that journey, and give witness for other aspirants.

You will define who you are, and overcome the false impression of self we receive as feedback from our environment and interactions
